In February 2019 the Osage Casino Hotel in Tulsa completed a major $160M expansion project transforming the casino into Tulsa's newest casino destination location.
Osage Casino Tulsa first opened in Summer 2005. It is one of seven Oklahoma casinos owned and operated by the Osage Nation. The other six are Osage Casino Bartlesville, Osage Casino Hominy, Osage Casino Pawhuska, Osage Casino Ponca City, Osage Casino Sand Springs and Osage Casino Skiatook.
Osage Casino Hotel has completed a massive $160 million expansion project that added 247,000 new square feet. The expansion included 66,000 square feet of additional gaming space, a 141-room hotel, a brewery and a sports bar.
The enlarged casino floor has an additional 1,500 slot machines, 39 high-limit machines, 20 table games and five poker tables. There is also a new sports bar and grill, a small cafe and casino bar.
The Osage Casino Hotel opened August 29, 2018. It has 141 rooms including six suites, a fitness center and a large, 120,000-gallon luxury pool.
Construction was officially completed in Feb. 2019 with the opening of the Skyline Event Center. Construction began with a ground breaking in Nov. 2016.

Osage Casino Hotel is preparing to reopen May 15 with new safety measures and limited operations. The casino will be opened in phases as restrictions are lifted. Initially the total number of customers inside the casino will be limited to 1,500 at any one time. Every other slot machine will be turned off. Table games will be closed. There will be no food service and the hotel will remain closed.
The smaller Osage Casino in Ponca City reopened today. It will test and evaluate the new safety measures that are also planned for Tulsa.

The Osage Nation broke ground today on a second hotel tower at the Osage Casino Hotel in downtown Tulsa. This will be a six-story tower with 145 guest rooms.
The construction cost for this project will be $28 million. The completion date is estimated to be August 2020.
Last year the Osage Casino Hotel in Tulsa completed a $160 million expansion and renovation project which added 66,000 square feet of gaming space, a brewery and sports bar, and the Skyline Event Center. The project also added 141 hotel rooms.
During his address at the ground breaking ceremony, Osage Casinos CEO Byron Bighorse mentioned last year's hotel project saying:
'The minute that we opened this property, I saw an issue right away and that was we didn't build enough hotel rooms to begin with. ...This was originally in our plans to have this many rooms. So I'm very excited to see this happen.'

Construction of the new Skyline Event Center is finished and will open next week. Today a VIP event is planned to celebrate the opening. The first public concert is Feb. 16 featuring the Goo Goo Dolls.
This 45,000-square-foot concert and entertainment venue has 2,000 total seats. There are 1,700 seats on the stage level, and the mezzanine has 300 seats and five private suites. There is also a a concession stand and a bar.
The opening of the Skyline Event completes the $160 million casino and hotel expansion project at the Osage Casino Hotel.

The new casino hotel in Tulsa is now open. It is the Osage Casino and Hotel and is being branded as the downtown casino. However, the location is just outside of the downtown area. It is located just four minutes away at 951 W 36th St. North in Tulsa.
The new Osage Casino and Hotel is estimated to earn in local revenue $32 million according to tribal leaders.
The public was invited on Wednesday for the official opening. Many people visited the new casino hotel. Leaving the parking lot full. There was a special ribbon cutting ceremony held for the grand opening.
Plans to develop the new casino took nearly 15 years. The project cost $160 million to complete.
The casino is open 24 hours daily. There are game tables. Blackjack is offered. As well as over 1,600 electronic gaming machines.
The hotel offers 141 guest rooms. There is space for meetings and conventions.
The expansion also created a brewery and a new parking garage. Concerts can be held at the new event center. There are also four dining options.
The Thunder Bar & Grill is open daily. There is a food menu and offers live music.
It is estimated that $32 million will be contributed to the economy from the salaries of 400 employees.
Currently there are seven Osage Casino locations.
The casinos are overseen by the Osage Tribe Gaming Enterprise Board. The group was formed by the Osage Tribal Council after the tribe was given approval from the federal government to operate a casino.
In 2002 the Osage opened their first casino in Hominy. The following year they opened Pawhuska. Next was Sand Springs in 2004. The original Tulsa opened in the middle of 2005. The next year they opened Bartlesville. Two casinos were opened in 2007. In the Fall was Skiatook. In the Winter was Ponca City.

The Downtown Tulsa Osage Casino is preparing to open. The $160 million property will also offer a hotel, microbrewery, and pool.
Plans for the new casino have been in the works for nearly ten years.
It is located north by almost 4 minutes from downtown and along the LL Tisdale Parkway. This will be the closest casino to the area.
The hotel will have 141 guest rooms. This will be attractive to out of town visitors that want to visit Tulsa's Arts districts and the Blue Dome. It will also be attractive to locals wanting a get away close to home.
The hotel will offer resort amenities including a resort style pool. It will hold 120,000 gallons of water. It can accommodate 240 guests. The hot tub can accommodate 15 guests. There will be a tanning ledge with 15 lounge chairs. The outdoor deck that overlooks the pool and the Osage Hills. A fire pit. Also, a sports bar. Outdoor entertainment will be held in the new 6,000 square foot outdoor area. The outdoor entertainment area will provide an additional venue for events and parties to be held by the people in Tulsa. The area is described as high end and indulgent.
This will also be the only casino in Oklahoma to offer a full scale, on site brewery.
In addition to its own beers, the brewery will also offer other locally made beers.
On August 29 the grand opening will be held.
The casino will be 66,280 square feet. This will replace the original and smaller casino located next door. There will be five poker tables and 16 game tables in operation. There will also be 1,550 electronic gaming machines.

In August of 2018 a new Osage Casino will open. The Tulsa casino cost $150 million to complete.
Included at the new casino will brewery offering locally made beer Nine Band Brewery. The brewery will offer craft beer that will only be offered at the Osage Casino. The mircobrew will be made onsite at the casino using a 20 barrel system. Guests will be able to watch the beer making process at the bar area located next to the brewery.
There will be four types of beer produced by Nine Band Brewery that will always by on the menu. They are the triple, Blue Lacy Brown Ale, Hoop Snake Hefeweizen, and Nine Band Pale Ale. Production will begin in July so that it will be ready for the August opening. Guests will also be able to try visiting breweries as well.
In addition to the brewery, there will be a 247,000 square foot casino. It will be two stories. The new casino building will have high limit betting as well as a state of the art casino gaming floor.
The hotel will offer 141 guest rooms. It will be 74,000 square feet. Also guests will be able to use the resort styled pool. Meetings and events will be able to be hosted at the hotel. The space can either be converted to one large room, or up to three smaller individual rooms. There will also be direct elevator access to the space.
The entire facility is expected to be open by August 2018. However, the event center will open in January the following year.
